“Sixty bands. Three days. One legendary party.”
Harley-Davidson is celebrating 110 years of freedom this year, and what better way to celebrate with a party! Over Labor Day weekend, August 31-September 1, there will be quite an exciting event held in Milwaukee, WI.
Last year, Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee had an official public kick-off for their 110th anniversary by starting a countdown, which is shown on Adaptive’s StreetSmart 17mm Amber 32x224 LED display.
Adaptive developed a custom countdown application for Harley’s 110th anniversary. In addition to the standard counter functionality found in AlphaNET software, which allows for individual count up or count down of days, hours, or minutes, this special counter app displays days, hours, minutes and seconds together to update everyone who strolls through the Harley Davidson Museum on the official countdown to the 110th anniversary.
The 2013 anniversary celebrations will be held in Milwaukee while multiple sites around the world including Central Rome, Vatican City, and Port of Ostia have already partied in honor of Harley. The European celebration was June 13-16, 2013 and Milwaukee’s event will be held on August 29-September 1, 2013. The home of Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee will include custom bike show, entertainment, the World's largest Bike Night at The Harley-Davidson Museum and a special H.O.G. 30th Anniversary Celebration.
In a few days, the counter will officially hit 0 and a message will display on the StreetSmart to officially kick-off the 110th anniversary party. Hope to see you there!
