Adaptive Micro Systems Ooh!Media™ Version 1.2 expands its user-friendly, high-efficiency content management capabilities to include multi-lingual operation and seamless Vista connectivity.
Milwaukee, WI, October 15, 2007 . . . Adaptive Micro Systems LLC today announces the release of Ooh!Media™ Version 1.2 – the next-generation content management software specifically designed to make it easy for end users around the world to harness the full power of digital displays.
“The initial release of Ooh!Media™ set a new precedent for simplified content development and convenient scheduling so users could quickly optimize the value of their graphics-based display investment,” notes Marlise Kuehn, Commercial Product Manager at Adaptive Micro Systems. “With the introduction of a multi-lingual platform, users around the world will be able to generate and schedule content with little-to-no formal training required.”
Now, users can select from a menu of nine languages to tailor Ooh!Media™ to their operating preferences. In addition to English, users can choose Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Another key component of Version 1.2 is its ability to seamlessly operate within both Vista 32-bit and Vista 64-bit operating environments. “The Vista compatibility demonstrates our commitment to provide customers with the state-of-the-art graphics-based content management solution,” adds Kuehn. Ooh!Media™ enables users to easily handle text and complex graphic content -- including animations and video. Drag-and-drop graphic files, animations and video to generate vibrant, eye-catching backgrounds. Work with the full range of installed Windows fonts and formatting options. Easily add time, temperature and ticker-type RSS-FED data with a few clicks of the mouse. Even augment original content creation with prepackaged graphics and animations to keep content fresh and engaging. Also, an emulator window provides a convenient quality control tool by allowing users to see a pixel-based view of what they are creating as they create it. This helps users make sure everything turns out on the display looking like they want it to… before it goes live on the board.
In addition, Ooh!Media™ delivers the power to schedule messaging down to the second… and out for the year. Simply schedule the run time right from a PC and distribute as desired using high-speed Ethernet connectivity and each display’s individual IP address. Through this remote connectivity capability, a customer can seamlessly coordinate all their digital displays simultaneously – regardless of whether they are in the building, across the street or around the world.
